Furthermore, the bridge to "Southern manhood" was more often than not, the statutory rape of the uderage maid (Strom Thurmond). And, don't deny the lynchings of blacks in the South, there is testimony by both whites and blacks to the evidence of this practice. What are you talking about? It was a desperate cry for attention. I haven't sen this aspect of the incident being dealt with. I remember the incident, I was in Paris at the time it happened. Anything anti-jewish is sure to gain the place of honor in the news. If the French were not over-reacting at the slightest svastika to make up for their collaboration in the deportation of jews during WW2 such things wouldn't happen.
